Book One

What would you sacrifice to be free?

Two years after an invasion from above, 26-year-old Lenore and her brother are some of the few humans still free. No one is sure where the rest are, but Lenore knows she and her brother need to stay hidden. So when they seek shelter for the night in an abandoned office building, all her fears come true. Aliens capture and place her in a hotel turned work camp. She finds her brother is missing, and no one will talk about what happened to him. And though her captors provide everything she needs, Lenore wants to be free.

Will she conform to her new world or find a way back to the old one?

Book Two

Lenore is safely away from her alien captors, but supplies are running low, and scavenging zones are getting fewer. On top of it all, a mysterious illness begins to spread through the people, including Ray's daughter, Serene. Forced to leave the safety of her new home (with someone that has no experience in lone survival), Lenore must find the one person who may be able to help her. Unfortunately for her, it also means going back to the place she fought to escape. Will she ever truly be free? Can she make a necessary sacrifice?

Book Three

After the winter exodus, the survivors who stayed behind in the compound experience a time of peace. Little do they know danger is looming just outside their walls. Lenore and her friends reach their breaking points together and individually.
Book three is a major turning point in the series and their lives. The future is unclear and frightening for everyone. Meet new characters, fall more in love with old ones, and be confused about who can be trusted.

Book Four

Lenore and her friends will stop at nothing to have their home back. But, as in all great wars, freedom does not come free. Who will pay the ultimate price? The final installment in the Lenore Monroe series brings reunions and grief. Will it also carry the liberation she’s worked so hard to reach?
