Been a busy lady

Okay, so I know I've been gone for an extremely long time. But for good reason. I have been working hard on revamping my first book, marketing it, and oh yeah... I've written and begun preorders for my second book. It has been a whirlwind to say the least. Book 2 will be out May 12, 2019 exclusively on Amazon/Kindle. The paperback will be available a day to a few days later. I'm trying to learn all that I can about marketing, writing, editing, and everything that goes into getting my book out there. This is a learning process, and, like all things new, takes a while time to get down.

I would like to thank all of you who have read my first book. I know it has some mistakes and I'm working on that (mainly, I don't have $1,400 to get a professional editor at the moment) so I'm trying really hard and using every editing software and well read friend I can get my hands on to make this the best book it can be under the circumstances.

That being said, I still think it is a great story. I'm trying to work up the courage to send it to a professional reviewer. Someone on Instagram contacted me to review my book, and I went through with it, but I did not feel right about it. Basically, his review was just a rewrite of my own blurb from amazon with a few "this story will have you glued", "loved the characters", and other vague comments. Crossing my fingers it does not turn out to be a scam.
